Golden Months provides in-home maternal and newborn recovery care. This policy explains what we collect when you use goldenmonths.com, apply for care, or communicate with us.

- Information you give us — name, email, phone number, ZIP code, due or birth date, insurance or health-plan information, and anything you share in a form, quiz, chat, or message.
- Information collected automatically — device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and campaign parameters, through cookies and analytics tools.
- Care information — if you become a client, health and care information you or your care team enter into our platform.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and determine whether our programs fit your needs
- To schedule and deliver care, and to coordinate your care team
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates
- To send marketing communications, where you have opted in
- To improve our website, services, and support
- To meet legal, regulatory, and insurance obligations
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our services — such as customer service providers — is restricted to that purpose only. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may text you about your inquiry, your care, and your appointments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not remove you from care — we will simply reach you another way. See our SMS Terms for details.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With members of your care team, so they can care for you
- With service providers who operate our platform (hosting, scheduling, messaging, email) under contract, limited to that work
- With your health plan or insurer, where needed to verify coverage or bill for care
- When required by law, or to protect someone's safety
Health information
Where we act as a covered entity or business associate, protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state law, and is kept separate from marketing systems. Information you submit through this website before becoming a client is treated as an inquiry, not a medical record.

- Reply STOP to any text to opt out of messaging
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us
- Control cookies through your browser settings
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we protect it with access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 except as part of a parent's care record.
