SMS Terms & Conditions
What to expect if you receive text messages from Golden Months.
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Program description
Golden Months sends text messages to people who request information about our maternal and newborn recovery care, and to clients receiving care. Messages include replies to your questions, consultation scheduling and reminders, care coordination, and occasional service updates.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and checking the consent box on a Golden Months form (including our application, quiz, and consultation request), by texting us first, or by giving verbal or written consent to a member of our team. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of receiving care.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and your care. Most people receive a handful of messages around scheduling and reminders.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Golden Months does not charge for these messages.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. We will send one confirmation and then nothing further. Opting out does not affect your care — we will reach you another way.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, email Admin@goldenmonths.com, or call (833) 611-4653.
Quiet hours
We do not send automated messages between 8:00 PM and 9:00 AM in your local time, except for time-sensitive messages about care already scheduled.
Not for emergencies
Text messaging is not monitored around the clock and must never be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For urgent clinical concerns, contact your OB, midwife, or pediatrician directly.
Carriers
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier and device conditions.
Privacy
No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy.
